Facilities

We have the facilities that make your stay, holiday or else, a real pleasure. The children can play outside, either on the play ground in front of the rooms or on the school's play ground, which is next door to the hostel.

Internet

There is free WiFi and free internet access for all our guests.

Common Kitchen 

Our guests' kitchen is large and well-equipped. You can buy a light evening meal, dishes to heat yourself or a BBQ pack to prepare on the gas grill on the veranda. If it's too cold or wet for a barbecue, there is a grill pan and oven in the guests' kitchen. Call us for further details.

Indoor activities

We have two lounges where you can watch TV/video and play board games. 

Our pool table and green baize-covered card tables provide you with a chance to relax with a quiet game. If you prefer more energetic pursuits, we have a good air hockey table and table football.

 After your game, you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the café on the first floor. Buy a cold beer or soft drink from the vending machine and then take a seat in the yard and enjoy the sunshine.

Outdoor activities

Outside you will find a terrasse and a small playground. At the sports facility next to the youth hostel there is a roller skating course. So bring your roller skates and get rolling.

Laundry

We have a coin-operated laundry in the basement.

Non smoking

GIVSKUD ZOO - HOSTEL is a non-smoking hostel.

Parking

There is free parking in front of the hostel.

Accessibility

There are 10 rooms at the ground floor, which are accessible for disabled in a wheelchair. There are no specific appliances installed in the bathrooms, but there are no barriers on the floors and there is enough space for the wheelchair next to the toilet. Lounges and dining room are situated on the ground floor as well.

Please note, that the guest kitchen is on the first floor, which has no elevator access.
