Safari by car
GIVSKUD ZOO - ZOOTOPIA is also a safari park, so you can experience lots of our animals from your car. When you arrive at the park, you don't have to leave your car. Just drive up to the Ticket Sales Office.
In the park you also experience the zoo, Denmarks largest Dinosaur Park and different exhibitions.
Your Safari Tour begins as soon as you enter the park. You will be guided to the first car park (P1). Park your car here and see the animals on foot.
From P1 you can drive through several safari areas and experience animals from South America, North America and Africa. Say hello to alpacas, American bison, antelopes, zebras and giraffes, to name just a few!
Good advice: Take your time and you are sure to have much more fun with the animals.
Halfway through the safari by car, you will arrive at a second car park (P2). It's a good idea to leave your car here and take a walking safari to see the African animals in this part of the park.
You return to your car. The African savannah is next. You see the rhinos and wildebeest before arriving at what most people consider the high point of their visit to GIVSKUD ZOO - ZOOTOPIA: The Lions' Enclosure.
Once you have closed your car windows and the sun-roof, you will be permitted to drive through a lock with double gates leading into the lions' territory.
And if you want to see more of the animals, you are welcome to repeat the Safari Tour as often as you like.

At the entrance, you receive a free park guide with a map of the park. The safari route is clearly marked on the map. Please don't forget to read the safety instructions to make sure you have a safe Safari Tour.
