Dilophosaurus
Dilophosaurus means "two-crested lizard".
Dilophosaurus got its name from the two crests on the top of its head. In fact, their function is not known. Perhaps they were used to attract the opposite sex. The teeth in the upper mouth are divided into two rows with a space between them. It gives Dilophosaurus a crocodile-like appearance. The position of the teeth probably meant that they could not be used to kill large prey. Maybe it used the claws on its hands and feet. It may also have lived on fish.
