Europasaurus
Europasaurus means “European lizard”.
Not all long-necked dinosaurs were huge! Europasaurus ‘only’ grew to a length of around 5 metres and weighed up to 1000 kg. It lived at a time when what we know as Europe today was a string of large and small islands. The creature’s small stature may have been caused by lack of access to an abundant supply of food.
