PASA
Pan African Sanctuary Alliance is a network of reserves that collaborate to rescue, care for, and rehabilitate orphaned and injured primates. The primary goal is to secure a future for Africa's primates by promoting the protection of their natural habitats, raising awareness of the threats they face, and providing lifelong care for the monkeys that cannot be reintroduced into the wild.
Member reserves are spread across Africa, sharing resources and expertise in the care and treatment of monkeys. All reserves also have educational departments, and Givskud Zoo Nature Fund has chosen to support the development, printing, and distribution of educational material in the form of a book called "Mama P." The book explains the reasons why so many monkeys end up in reserves and how efforts are made to protect them.
