Red Panda Fund – Forest Guardians

A "Population and Habitat Viability Assessment Workshop" was supported in 2010 with the aim of creating a plan for how the red panda can be protected in the wild. Since 2013, the nature foundation has also supported "Forest Guardians" in Nepal. Here, local Nepalese are employed to monitor the pandas and advocate for them in local communities - the so-called Forest Guardians. Givskud Zoo Nature Fund has provided support to the project in 2010 and again from 2013 onwards..
